The meaning behind the design
In Luke 9:23, Jesus speaks about what it means to truly follow Him. He calls His followers to deny themselves, take up their cross daily and follow Him.
The mountain symbolizes the road ahead. The path upward is not straight or easy, but it requires perseverance. The cross at the top points to Christ and to the heart of His call: to keep following Him regardless of how difficult the road becomes.
